However I went to a 80th birthday party over Christmas and was given a single malt whiskey from a gift bottle of “Duncan Taylor Glenmorangie 26 year old” and wow how smooth was this. Personally i enjoy single malts cask strength at the most. Try a Blood and Sand, which is equal parts scotch, cherry liqueur, sweet vermouth, and orange juice.
